Youth Action for Peace is an international peace movement which aims for societies of peace, justice, and self determination. Since 1923 Youth Action for Peace has been committed to promote peace and dialogue in local communities through the active participation of young people. Youth Action for Peace has 17 member organisations and numerous partner organisations
International Network of Volunteers. Youth Action for Peace engages and trains international and local volunteers who work in community projects of our member and partner organisations. In 2006 4000 international volunteers participated in our programs world wide.
YAP Around the World. With our members, partners, and volunteers, Youth Action for Peace reaches out to more than 40 countries world wide including:
- Europe: Austria, Belgium, Balkan region (Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, and Serbia), France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Romania, Russia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom
